Paintings from the Strategy & Mortality series are on view at Innnovation Home Kamppi through February 26th.
These works incorporate collaged prints of images generated by artificial intelligence based on my own paintings, torn up and reassembled to create new ways of seeing.

For five weeks during August - September I was an artist in residence for the 2023 edition of Kunsthaus, a Helsinki-based initiative funded by Jägermeister.

Two of my large scale paintings are included in the annual NordArt exhibition in Germany. I am one of 200 international artists taking part.

Confluence: Synthetic Visions is a solo exhibition of original paintings by Alex Markwith created using iterative artificial intelligence techniques in collaboration with behavioral strategist and researcher Jori Grym.
All parts of this project have been produced using human-AI interaction.

May 23 - 28 I will participate in an uncurated site-specific artistic action alongside other Nordic artists as part of ARTIVAL: RE-CONNECT Nordic 2023.

Inverse is a solo exhibition by Alex Markwith featuring wall-hung sculptural assemblages alongside abstract paintings on canvas. Each piece is constructed in a series of improvisational gestures via intuitive use of color and found material.
